Editorial policy
What we publish
Features, histories, comparisons and buyer's guides on cars from every marque and era, and news on new cars, launches and motorsport. Every story carries the name of the editor responsible for that subject, listed on the masthead.
Sources and facts
Every article is written from cited sources, listed at the foot of the page. Every figure, date and specification must appear in those sources before it is published, and we never invent a number. News stories are based on official announcements from car makers, race organisers and governing bodies, and link to the original release.
How articles are produced
We use software tools, including AI, to research and draft articles from their sources. Every article then passes automated checks against those sources for unsupported figures, copied wording and accuracy of names before it can be published.
Independence
No car maker pays for coverage, and no story is shown to a manufacturer before publication. Where a story links to Drive Tribe, our publisher, it is because the car in question can be hired there; that link never changes what we write.
